There are many options out there when looking to achieve your nutrition goals and choosing the right professional is an important decision. Below are several reasons to choose a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

  • Obtain at least a bachelor’s degree with coursework approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  •  After completing coursework an accredited and supervised dietetic internship (with a variety of nutrition related rotations including healthcare, community, food service, etc) is completed
  • Complete a national exam from the Commission on Dietetic Regulation
  •  To maintain registration status annual continuing education coursework is completed.

So when looking for nutrition advice it only makes sense to choose the expert in the field!
